Guardiola extends contract with Manchester City until 2027

Pep Guardiola has committed his future to Manchester City by signing a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2027.

The announcement brings an end to months of speculation about the Spaniard's future, with the 55-year-old confirming his desire to continue building on City's recent success.

"Manchester City has become my home," Guardiola said in an official statement. "The project here is far from finished. We have a fantastic group of players, incredible support from the board, and passionate fans. I want to continue this journey."

Guardiola has won six Premier League titles since arriving at the Etihad Stadium in 2016, along with two FA Cups, four League Cups, and the club's first-ever Champions League trophy.

City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak expressed his delight at the news: "Pep is simply the best manager in the world. His commitment to this club goes beyond results on the pitch. He has helped build something truly special here."
